For the week of 9/4 - 9/8 we will continue the study of limits. You should now be able to find the limits of polynomial functions using direct substitution and you should be able to find the limits of rational functions by first factoring and cancelling, then use direct substitution. This week we will work on finding limits of radical functions, greatest integer functions and absolute value functions. We will also have a very quick and dirty review of trig so that we can find the limits of trig functions.
You can expect 2 quizzes this week based on the homework from last week.
